Aspire 5315 RAM

I cant find an answer. My laptop currently has 2gb of RAM installed but with windows 7 installed 49% of this has been taken up and its now getting slow.

According to the acer website this laptop only allows 2gb to be installed , but can i install more? 3/4gb and what would happen if I did.

if 2gbs is the max that the mobo would support I'm afraid you are stuck with that.

have u recently installed anything that has been using up your memory? would you happen to have Norton installed? (since that does eat up memory)

have you tried looking at msconfig to see what you have appearing at start up?
