Asrock g31m-s swapped for Intel DQ965GF

My mobo and psu went. I replaced the psu (400 watts). Put the new mobo in and I cant get vga signal to monitor.

Also using 2 2GB 800MHz DDR2 Ram and I believe core 2 due SPU, and no graphics card.

I’m not sure where to go from here to trouble shoot this problem. Are these two mobo interchangeable, or did I goof and buy the wrong mobo?

What exact processor are you using?

the processor intel core 2 quad 2.33 ghz

So a Q8200? If so, the Intel board doesn't support that processor.

You have to go to the linked tool to see the quads, but it looks like the 6 series is what'd you'd be going for (Q6600, etc).

It's probably more cost effective to just buy newer gear.
