thank you!
i have a friend that is selling me his desktop.. his desktop has this motherboard.. i dont know if i should build a new computer or buy him his computer.. i want a gaming computer. What do you think?
We can't tell if its good computer just by what motherboard it has. Need to know what cpu, how much ram, what video card it has, power supply also. What do you plan on using the system for?
i want to play all the recent games.. including GTA V, also rainbow six siege.. ect..
my friend told me that he could sell me the computer without the graphics card and without the power supplu for 450€. I had in mind to then buy a better power supply and a r9 380 4 gb .. what do you think my friend?
Expensive for what you would get, especially as old as the motherboard and cpu are. To be honest, I would pass on that and find something more up to date.
I would not go with AM3+ at this point. Socket 1150 is heck of a lot better then AM3+. Socket 1151 increases costs a little but would be better to go with.
The R9 380 only needs 550-600 watt psu. I also wouldn't go with that brand of power supply. Get a corsair cx600.
AM3+ is cheaper and motherboards are probably longer available than on LGA1150. AM3+ is also good for gaming. Some games have problems but usually those are unplayable anyway. LGA1151 is better than LGA1150 because motherboard availability will be better, but bendgate is something that makes LGA1151 very hard to recommend http://www.fudzilla.com/news/processors/39390-some-intel-skylake-cpus-become-a-part-of-bendgate
