Assassin's Creed II on PC to be DX9 only.

What kind of shit are they pulling? man, i bought a 5770 hoping this game to be released in dx11. At least i still have dirt 2.

I call this a major fail. AC1 supports DX10, and did support DX10.1, but nvidia didn't like that, so it was removed in a patch even though it worked fine and improved performance on ati cards.

I suppose you could speculate that nvidia did it again because they have no dx11 cards on the market yet. only a rumour.

Im just hoping they will add support in a patch for the pc version.

We all got screwed by the xbox 360 and ps3, again. :mad:

Looks like i will be "buying" this game, if you get my meaning.

reminds me of when the ps2 version of nhl 2009 was ported to pc instead of the 360 and ps3 version
 
I don't really care what DX version the game support as long as it has good graphics, good storyline and gameplay
 
yeah, my main point. DX10 and DX11 have loads of improvements (apart from visual ones) and give better performance, when implemented properly.
