ASUS A8N-SLI Deluxe

I just recently bought a new ASUS A8N-SLI Deluxe mobo and i have some memory questions about it.

in order to get memory to work in dual channel, which slots do i put my 1gb (2 * 512) dimms in?
 
from my understanding it doesnt matter as long as you put then in the same color. ex. both in blue, or both in black.
 
nope if u ave 2 sticks u must only put them in the blue ones as stated in the manual, ull get a beep code error otherwise.
 
Sli WooDy is right its the same for my premium.
To quote the manual " When using two DDR DIMM modules, install into DIMM_A1 and DIMM_B1 slots only"
DIMM_A1 is the closest to the processor and DIMM_B1 is third away. (The blue ones).

everybody loves these boards, about half of the gaming rigs i have seen have an ASUS board of some kind
 
This is the first ASUS board i have owned my self, and it's the best choice i ever made, it was either this or a lan party and i think i made the right choice. Im not to impressed with the Cool Pipe though, its ok at stock speeds but mine tends to be a bit on the toasty side under load, i may invest in a fan to go ontop of it!!

Forget the rest, ASUS all the way :)
