is it worth it? it was recommended to me by some and others told me i shouldn't get it... i really don't expect to have 2 gfx cards in the near future, but i guess i shouldn't shoot down the possibility... i plan on putting an AMD X2 4200+ in it and an EVGA GeForce 7800 GT PCI/E...

is this the right match-up? and what kinds of 939 socket motherboards do you guys/ladies use out there...

edit: alrighty... i figured out why people don't like it... this mobo is crossfire and not sli... still are there any suggestions to what kind of sli supported 939 mobos i should get?

DFI lanparty SLI-D or DR.
the ASUS A8R-MVP is an excellent board. you can get a X1800XT and then later on you can get the next best card and crossfire them. unlike SLI where you have to have the same type of card.
have a look in Computer Specs 101 for a nice setups that you might like.

ya sweet motherboard,
i have asus a8r-mvp my self, and its great,,, only problem is,
or only thing i am not happy with it is, it is too safe;;
what i mean by that is, it doesn't let you fry your cpu;;

well, the maximum voltage it allows is only 1.4V

w/e, you won't get this motherboard, if you are getting 7800 anyway
