asus gtx 470 vs evga gtx 470, any difference?

well it all depends on how much more one is.. or maybe one has more memory than the other. other than that, im clueless :D

EVGA is by far and away the best channel distributor for nvidia products. Physically, they are the same cards, but there is a reason EVGA is #1 for nvidia in north america...best support and warranty of any company out there.

Yeah typically the EVGA has a better warranty. They usually offer a 2 year or lifetime warranty. Check the part number, if it ends in ''TR'' it's the 2 year warranty. ''AR'' is lifetime.

Also, if you are looking into gtx470's, I'd look into a 1gb GTX460 more. The factory overclocked 1gb gtx460 is pretty much as strong as a gtx470, and the 460 is much smaller, uses way less energy, and creates way less heat.

Yes but the ASUS has a 3 year warranty to any owner. EVGA is only to the first owner. Many people sell their card within 3 years and a warranty to the second owner can be a big deal. A lot of EVGA owners have to promise RMA help to buyers in order to sell the card.

I wiould get ASUS if the price is the same, or even slightly more.
