Hey guys, ive had a few years computing experience but im really stuck with this problem, any help would be awesome.

I recently bought the ASUS HD 6450 silent graphics card, put it in my motherboard no problems, fits perfect... i turn my computer on and about a minute after boot i get bsod (Blue screen of death).

Bsod - Technical Information -
*** STOP: 0X0000008E (0X80000003 , 0XB7CBCC41 , OXB7CBCB7C , 0X00000000)

In device manager i have this error with "Video Controller (VGA Compatible)" - "This device is not configured correctly. (Code 1)"... and it's under "Other Devices"

Also when installing ATI Catalyst Install Manager (Version 8.861), i can view the log and see the error "Other detected devices"

Specs :

OS - Windows XP, Service pack 3 (getting 7 ultimate 64bit soon)
Motherboard - ASRock G31M - S
PSU - ATX-450
Intel(R) Celeron(R) CPU E1500 @ 2.20GHz
1.99 GB Of Ram

I only get bsod when graphics card is in, always about 2-3minutes after boot....

Ask for any more info you need to solve this problem and ill post it up no worries. And yh, i know my pc is proper **** :P If it is just a conflict of drivers, when i clean install windows 7 soon i should have no problems, hopefully.
