Ive had my motheboard for 2 days and aswell as my athlon 64 3200+ radion 9800pro and 120gb segate hdd

everything ran fine and i thought id check if there was any updates for the bios i downloaded from http://www.asus.com/support/download/item.aspx?ModelName=K8N&Type=BIOS

K8n1004.zip - i unzipped this and used asus update

on the program i used i directed it to the bios in the zip file and it started installing it asked for reboot and once it did:

powers up

keyboard doesn't turn on and doesn't send signal to monitor

doesnt post

the fans run and the motherboard just beeps

how could i set it back to as if it was brand new because i dont think it has a bios im new to bios flashing so any helpand i will be greatful seen as it is an xmas present and i cant even use it... lol

thanks alot

I did read the manual before i posted on here it said something about clearing cmos and setup parameters. it said set it to pins 2-3 for 10 seconds and move back to 1-2 i did this n still nothing.

yes. i think its the fact that the bios has been deleted or something. i dont really know anymore info would be great

Nice thing about ASUS boards is you can boot up without a BIOS :P (although the first thing you do is you have to restore/load the BIOS)

As for the manual, see section 2-6 and 2-7 :)

you are right about the crash free bios but the thing is the monitor doesnt receive a signal from the computer so i cant see whats going on if there is anything going on  this sucks lol

Nah because im using my old computer on this monitor right now and it was working fine when i flashed the bios it said it was successfull and stuff and asked for a reboot once i rebooted it just beeped and didnt switch the monitor on.
