, i don't have any one in mind..
look ...
i want to buy a labtop , but i don't know what kind i need
i use the programming languages.
another thing ... i am looking for labtop have good price and from good company ...
i have heared about Toshiba ...but it's more expensive than ASUS
note: Sorry .. if there is a mistake in my language because i know little of English , i can understand but can not make statment professionally..
tell me what do you thing about my english language therefore you read ?

Could you expand a little on what you want? What programs do you use, what languages do you program, do you ever play games,
i use visual basic , c++, assembly , java , photoshop and flash
i want a dvd , cd-write, floppy drive , usb port , cd-rw
do you need a cd burner...what's it?

I like Apple laptops (warning: u cant install windows on it, but u have to use Mac OS X which is basically... Windows Longhorn....what's Longhorn?

i always spell it as er. your english is fine, in fact id probably say its better than mine, and im from ENGLAND.

i have alot of homeworks and projects and i spend my time to do them
some times i cann't complete them in my home. so, i have to do that in collage
or may be in car. also,the sitting on chair in front of PC is so tired
thus, i need a laptop have a long battery
my budget is 800$ , 933$ or 1066 $ ( but i prefer 800 $ )

With the given intent, you don't need lost of RAM, or an overly fast processor....so you could get pretty much anything, and then get an extra-long battery. As to your question about Asus, it shouldn't matter what brand, just make sure it is a name brand, not anything that you haven't heard of before.....
