Have you ever had a problem with an ASUS motherboard?

I've never had a problem with them (as far as DOA/Failing is concerned) but does it count as a problem if it was caused by user error? I had someone bring in a dead P4P800 with several other dead components (video, ram, other addin cards) but it was caused by a PSU that had it's vents and fan convered so it overheated and surged.

The answer is yes. No matter what company you pick you'll always find someone who will have a problem with them

took me awhile to figure out why my asus board kept on shuting down during the startup post. found out that the HSF is not secure and not touch therefore the cpu shutdown due to the failsafe feature.

Great

I have had mine about 1.5 years. I really like it. Its easy to overclock, and has never given me one problem. The bios updates really easy, If you can run a program, you can update the BIOS.

My Asus has cracked on the PCB & need to go back to wholeseller; problem may arise due to mounting-the mounting screw hole not alligned & twist the board
