Asus P5B-bent heatsink pins

I got the mobo and most of the rest of my computer in (sans CPU or fan) and had put the little add on fan for the northbridge heatsink on the P5B. However, it doesn't fit with my Thermaltake Big Typhoon, so I had to take it off. I had some trouble and ended up bending one corner each on two fins. Will this affect the cooling in any way? Probably not, but best to be sure.

Also, there was some weird sticky-waxy stuff on the bottom of the mobo. It wasn't from my hands. Any clue what it could be? I just got it out of the AS bag today.

It won't change anything to have the pins bent, as long as they aren't touching anything like PCB.

no , and no idea

what was the point of this post???

the bents prob wont ruin the cooling since the surface area is still there but it warping the metal you might have change its thermal conducive properties but prob nothing to see a difference in

the stick stuff might just be from the assembly process
