Is Asus P5B Deluxe compatible with Core 2 Duo right out of the box or do you require flash bios first?? Also do you need a hard drive installed to flash the bios first???

I think it is Allendale/Conroe read out of the box. And no, you don't need a hard disk drive, just a floppy, or in some cases a USB memory stick can now be used.
