I have built my new computer with Asus P5K-E Deluxe Motherboard, everything works fine. But the slight problem I had was that when I shut the power off from the computer.

The keyboard (plug in as PS2) and my wireless optical mouse (USB) remains on - now is this normal? Cause I opened up my case and the green LED light on the motherboard is still on, but I can't turn on my machine when I press anything on the keyboard (which means the system is truly shuts off?)

Is this normal such that this is how these new motherboard should react?

Thanks ahead.

I've got computers who's keyboard's will remain "on" even while the machine's off. I know my laptop will cause my optical mice to remain illuminated. Quite annoying with my Fireline mouse :P

Well I don't mind the keyboard being on as it is just connected through PS2 and not eatting up power or anything..

I just didn't want my mouse to be on at all time (or maybe I have been mistaken cause when you turn off the machine, wireless input device power on its own?)
