ASUS P5ND-SLI compatability

I can't get my new build to POST.
According to their website this board is compatible with the Pentium D 925 CPU I have, but I can't find anything about Patriot RAM. It's DDR2 800 and the board only supports DDR 667, but that shouldn't be an issue....should it?
My PSU is 500 watts and should be more than enough.
Any suggestions?

Try taking the Ram out, See if you post.

As long as you have DDR2 Ram for a DDR2 Motherboard, you should be fine.

Is the motherboard new?

You could of gotten a Dud.

Make sure you have the 4 port plug in on your motherbaord

What do you mean by four port plug?
The leds on the mobo do light up, but it's used....I bought it along with several other items from OMEGA here around christmas and this is the first time I've tried it. All the other items are new.
I'll try taking the RAM out and see if it POSTs when I get home.
Thanks for the help.

Asus boards are the worst with ram. Try manually setting your ram timing in the bio's. That has worked with me every time I have used an asus board. I have found that Asus will not clock your ram correctly by it's self.

I have really learned to hate asus!

You need the 4pin plug and the 24 or20 (depending on what board you have) pin plugs installed on your motherboard.

The 4 pin is the 12v ATX plug and it is what runs the cpu. The other longer plug runs the motherboard.
