HI i'm new here and i just got this new mobo and the temp reading isnt working

Rig as follows

ASUS P5QPL-AM
Intel E7400
OCZ Titanium 4Gig PC6400
8800GT
OCZ Venetta2
 
Is everything new? what program are you using to monitor temps? I would recommend HWMonitor moreso than speedfan or anyting else
 
alright well that didnt work reading correct in the bios but only 1 core in realtemp works for a few sec and gos back to 30c and dosent move again asus probe ii dosent work installed with 6 to 8 errors anyone had this happen?
 
Maybe it's time to change your software. Try Everest Ultimate Edition to measure the temperatures and fan speeds. After installing it just go to Computer and click "Sensor" tab.

What errors are they? Any known or most common?

Did you try to update your BIOS? Did you change your CPU on this motherboard? Or did you buy it mounted in? Do you have a driver CD to your motherboard? If the answer is yes - install those drivers, delete the old ones. If you are looking for updated ones, check out the ASUS website. Click this link, it already has your motherboard selected in there.
