First question:

Where do you plug in the IEEE 1394 expansion card at? In these two slots and just match up the colors? -

And also, does it matter if I use the little paper-like washers Antec gave me with the case when mounting the board into the case?

what does the manual say about the 1394 card? I would use the washers if they feel strongly enough to include them.

First, always use the washers if the manufacturer includes them.
It prevents the motherboard from shorting on the case. Bad...

Second, there is no expansion card. It's integrated onto the board.

The motherboard documentation states:

IEEE 1394

VIA® VT6308 controller supports 1 x 1394a ports (one at mid-board; one at back panel)
