What socket are you looking for?

Sry. I am new to this. The socket is for?
Which CPU are you using the motherboard with? AMD and Intel use completely different motherboards, and then among AMD and Intel they have different sockets for different generations of processors. Each CPU socket type has their own line of motherboards, some have more models available than others.

If you go with the Intel i7-4790K we recommended in your other thread, that uses socket LGA 1150.

Well you have the Asus Z97-Deluxe or Asus Sabertooth Z97 Mark1. Or in Gigabyte the Gigabyte GA-Z97X-Gaming GT or Gigabyte GA-Z97X-Gaming G1.

I see the deluxe being more expansive then sabertooth. Does that means that deluxe Is better? Mind briefly telling me what both brings to the table. And also is deluxe more expansive then sabertooth?

I haven't looked at those specific motherboards, but usually Sabertooth is designed more for gamers and overclockers, while the Deluxe, while still great in that regard, has more features like built in WiFi, bluetooth, more ports, add-on cards, etc.

Oic.. but what about rampage vi black edition? No match with deluxe and sabertooth?

You're not going to notice a difference in gaming, the only slight difference will be when it comes to overclocking. Do you intend to do some serious overclocking?

Oic.. but which of this two board is actually cheaper? I mean if its about the same price I will get the better one. But I heart wants me to get the black edition. Its cool. Any opinion?

Again, the ROG is a 2011 socket, meaning it can deal with 40 PCIe slots, meaning multiple graphics cards will not be choked at 8X.

What you have to understand, is that unless you're expecting to use more than one GPU, and have $500 for a motherboard and the same again for the CPU, you're fine with a 1150 socket motherboard as posted above. So you can answer this, do you want to use multiple graphics cards or lots of other PCIe lanes?

Because mother board is the main and consider as most important part. Therefore I need to start with the motherboard first. My question is is rampage iv black edition the best rog out there? (5ghz wifi needed)
Going with asus nvidia gtx780 x2 and intel 4790k cpu.
