Not unless the laptop also has an Intel HD integrated GPU built in. Some laptops have the ability to switch between integrated and dedicated GPUs to save power.
I heard that integrates graphics processor in Intel could not take on the graphics card in certain game that could make the game slow in frames per second.
Well you can disable the IntelHD GPU and switch to the nVidia or AMD GPU. How, I wouldn't know as I've never used a laptop like an Asus ROG (or any other multi GPU laptop) but I'd guess its in the graphics settings of either the nVidia, AMD or IntelHD section.
