i was givin a Asus video card, all i know about it is it's 128MB. how can i find out more about this? like get drivers, and most importantly, find out what model it is lol, thanks 4 any help.

Pop it in and check out what your computer lists as the display is. I was given an AGP graphics card a couple months ago, popped it in (generic drivers will allow it to operate), and the computer told me it was a GF5900XT I believe.

I think I went into the DirectX console to get more particular information on it.

If the card has a product number on it, you should be able to Newegg that, or if that fails you can likely google it.

yeahh lol, it's a Nvidia GeForce Fx5200, good?

EDIT: why is my computer like all pausy? not when im like going through my Favorites, it's fine there, but when i scroll down? is it cause of this video card? never did it before with the old 1?

Because the vid card is using default windows drivers, you'll need to install the nvidia drivers, that should get rid of the laggy stuff and much more. And it's not that great of a card, pretty old. I have a fx5500 on the dell (basically an overclocked 5200) and it barely plays halo at all low.

if you right click the desktop, click properties, and click the settings tab, it'll tell you what your graphics card is.
no need to go downloading extra software, in my opinion.
