hi today i am asking if Asustek S775 Intel X38 ATX Audio Lan is a good mobo to over clock

atm i have E4500 cpu,8800gt (i know ill have to bujy ati if i wanna go cross fire with this new mobo) , two 2Gb 6400 800mhz ram , a crappy ecs NF650Isli-t that will not over clock my cpu at all.

if the mobo i have suggested wont overclock much or has some other faults to it

can any 1 suggest a nice mobo that could atleast be like 2 to 3 years future proff?

can any 1 suggest a good mother board to buy please
with a lintel socket don't mind if its corss fire or sli
i would like the price to be between £100 to £200 from any good uk site

^ I own that board and recommend it. The Asus board you mentioned appears to be a good board as well. The 780i is a good board if you plan to run SLi now, or in the future.

I'm not sure why they've placed that "i" in front of all the chipset numbers. No difference that I can see. The link I provided is the same board that I own.

Alternatively, it stands for "intel".
