AT&T Sattelite Internet

Helo,

Im basically looking for an interent option where i can get fast speeds and unlimited data.

I heard hughes net sucks and dish's internet is a joke so is AT&T any good? anyone else you can think of? Also I live in the northern panhandle of west virginia.

Ive had Comcast in the past but has been yrs. I have AT&T Uverse now and had maybe 6 yrs. I also have fiber optics for bandwidth which is fast. You can buy different speeds. I pay for the intermediate speed. Don't need the commercial bandwidth. Unlimited is good. Unless your sucking bandwidth from massive downloading. That could be a problem also if it slows anybody else down. This only happened with Comcast. Used to download off newsgroup binaries but don't use no more. I was downloading 10 to 300 gig a day. Im done now. been yrs.
 
Satellite internet is slow and expensive. But if that's the only option you have then that's all you got. Can you get DSL or cable where you live?
 
No satellite internet has unlimited data as far as I know, Hughes Net just got upgraded to a 20GB cap.
 
never heard of ATT satellite before. Never the less i wouldn't want either. Besides thinking and was in the past was one way. (receiving). Thought you had to have dial up to send like email.

no i cannot my only options are homebroadband internet and satellite internet... Any suggestions..?
 
If you live in a rural area, you may want to look into a Wireless DSL service. Mine's unlimited. It does require line-of-sight to the tower, though.

Wireless DSL? Eric, the tower you are looking at is most likely a cell tower which provides mobile broadband to phones and hotspots, however most have data caps and are fairly expensive.
 
Call your local city and ask what is available for your area. they will know and give you the options.

Are you referring to buying service from AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, etc. and using a wireless broadband service? I've never heard that called wireless DSL before.
 
I want an unlimited internet plan for my home i live in northern west virginia my zip code is 26060 any UNLIMITED internet options?
