Every thing that I have read indicates that the AMD Athlon 64 3500, socket AM2, 89W, should be running 1.35v-1.4v. Speedfan reports that Vcore1 is 1.39v, and Vcore2 is 1.4v. However, my BIOS is set at 1.55v, and it also says that 1.55v is the normal voltage. It is a GIgabyte S3G. Why does this happen? Also, 1.55v is the highest voltage available in the BIOS.
