Is there a noticeable difference in these 2 processors or could I be fine with the 3500 and save the money. My pc will be used for gaming, watching dvds, watching tv, list. music, and desiging on photoshop/Dreamweaver.

I would say go with the 3500, and if you feel you need more speed later it should be an easy and relatively safe overclock to 3700 speeds.

i always say go with the best that you can afford.

if you want to spend the extra money go with the slower processor

If you want to spend more money go with the slower one....That doesn't make sence.

The 3500 and 3700 run the same clock, only difference is the extra cache

Hehe i *suppose* if you want to cross class-boundaries and compare S939-3500 to S754-3700 then you'd have a clock difference :D
