athlon 64 OC

I notice people have Athlon64-3500 clocked over 2.6ghz
my question is would the OC athlon 3500 be better then the athlon 64 fx-55 at stock 2.6ghz or is there other factors that make the athlon 64 fx-55 better even when it running slower.

I know this question serve little purpose since if you OC anyway a athlon fx-55 can be OC to a higher speed then a 3500.

but I want to know anyway.

As for why the FX55 is a better OCing chip -- totally unlocked multipliers 'Sides a more interesting comaprision would have been A64-4000 against a FX53 ... thats where you see the multipliers shine through

does that mean that while athlon 4000+ and fx53 have identicle benchmark but the athlon fx53 is much better for OC because they have unlocked multipliers.

Also If I was to over clock my fx55 is the safest way to do it and most efficent is to increase the multipliers.
