what nvidia card can you compare the 4850 to because im thinking of getting the 4850 mainly because its cheap especially this one ive seen

so if the 4850 compares to the 9800 what does the 4870 compare to concluding that both of them have the same clock speed and mem and cpu i think

I was told 4850 benches better then the 9800 by a bit and 4870 better then 260.


Personally I love those HIS ATI cards...what a genius idea to have the heat shot out the back of your PC vs from the side of your GPU. Has to do wonders for your cases temps.

The GTX 280 is faster than the 4870, its more equal to the GTX 260

yeah but 4800 series has got 800 cores compared to nvidias 200 series 200 cores

Nvidia, I guess you could say do more work per clock cycle. ATI is setup in units of 5. 800/5=160
