I recently installed an ATi 9800 Pro All-In-Wonder 128mb (to replace my old geforce5200 nVidia, that I no longer have on hand). Ever since I installed it, it has run at a very hot temperature. I can hardly hold my hand on the card for more than a few seconds. And when playing games it is insanely hot I don't even know how it still runs.
I did happen to format and reinstall my OS, reinstall drivers, AGP drivers. Still nothing. I know of the conflict with certain AGP slots and ATi but I think I have the right drivers. Everthing else seems to be running just fine. I have had problems with ATi drivers and software... but I think this is common as they are complete crap. But yea, it is wayyy too hot. As far as I know the 9800's don't have the temp censor on their card. Only 9600 has it. Could it be my PSU? Any other thoughts? Thanks...
