ATI AIW 9800 PRO Problem

For some unknown reason my video card will not let me open my multimedia center. I have been to ATI and downloaded all the latest drivers and installed. When I boot I get this msg:
C:\programfiles\atimultimedia\main/atidtct.exe
Runtime has experienced an unusual problem and need to terminate the program. The next block which comes up tell me I need to re-install ATI Multimedia Center. Which I have done after uninstalling ATI and catalyst with latest catalyst installed. Still get error msg?? tks in advance FW

ATI AIW 9800 Pro
Pentium 4 Intel
2 gig Corsair Ram
WD 76 gig SATA Raptor
WD 180 gig SATA
 
What operating system are you running? Also are you overclocking? Sometimes when you overclock too far, it will stuff up you I/O functions creating very strange errors.
