ATI Crossfire question

If they have the same spec then yes. Personally, i would get a single slot cooler card for the first slot, and a dual slot card for the second, thatw ay the top card won't get hotter. :good:

yeh they will work, 1st card looks fine but the second looks ugly

whats the cooling on those egg shapped coolers supposed to be like compaired to the enclosed method?

Hi Strokes, your decision at the end of the day but here's just an observation:

Your card (first url) blows hot air out of your case

The other card (second url) will blow the hot air in (unless you have a exhaust at the side of your case near it of course)

My case is a coolmaster haf 932:

Never mind the crappy cable job, but as you can see I have enough exhaust fans to keep it cool.

The only problem I can see you will have, depends on how long the new card is. The SATA ports are straight out from the bottom PCIe X16 slot.

It might work, the top two would clear the card. The third one maybe, if the third one clears you could use a L connector on the bottom one.

Ok, so I cleared up my cable mess and now I have this:

Now all of you are saying that I'll have a problem with my SATA cables, however I put my card into a lower slot and it fit just fine (not shown in pic above).
