ATI drivers and Vista

Ok, well I made the mistake of updating my ATI drivers(through windows update), and now every time I boot up my computer I get a pure blue screen after the initial Vista boot screen, then my computer restarts. The only way I can boot into my computer it with the "last known good configuration" option, which is a pain in the ass cause that resets all my display settings to default. I'll point out that the drivers Vista initially installs worked perfectly fine. Is there any way I can fix this without reinstalling Vista?

I am using 7.3, and it seems to work just fine.

edit: oops, thought I hit edit on the last one...err..

I can't remember what version it is, 7.2 or 7.3, but it's for 32bit Vista(at least I hope it is..). Pretty much every driver I've downloaded has done to me. Has anyone tried to 3rd party drivers on Vista (Omega drivers or something?)

Ok, found the problem. For anyone with problems with the ati drivers in vista causing blue screens upon logging in, read this:

u can also try safe mode and uninstalling drivers...

It doesn't work, as it states in the article
