ATI or Nvidia

here at my work i can get a discount on the ATI video cards. i can get the X1900XT for 270 bucks. or i can stick with the 7900GT on new egg for its normal price which i think is 350 or something like that. the X1900XT has double the memory and double the pixel pipeline. which one would you choose?
 
X1900XT, its a got more worths, and soon DX10 cards'll be out and buy a nice one then, starting with the cash you saved on this!
 
or i could get the ATI X1900 crossfire edition for 360. but my question is the crossfire edition just like the SLI in nvidia, and if i were to get the crossfire edition is that basically like buying to video cards. or would it be like the nvidia and you have to get two seperate cards anyways?

The 7900GT is around $240 on Newegg. And the X1900XT doesn't have more pipelines then the 7900GT does, but it would be a better performer.
