ATI Radeon HD 5450 monitor problem

Hi - First post here, so hello to everyone

I've got an ATI Radeon HD 5450 card connected to a LG W2361V Monitor via a HDMI connection.
The problem is that I cannot adjust the picture size to the full 23 inches, the max I can get is 22!
I have tried the 'clock' feature on the monitor, where I am supposed to be able to adjust the screen size, but for some reason this feature is 'greyed out' and not accessible. I have also looked through the graphics card menus, but cannot find anything there either.
Would this perhaps be sorted if I replace the HDMI with a DVI lead?

Any help would be great.

Been there. Done that.
First, download the latest drivers here...
http://support.amd.com/us/gpudownload/Pages/index.aspx
Open the Catalyst Control Center (CCC).
Click on MY DIGITAL FLAT PANELS.
Click on SCALING OPTIONS.
Slide SCALING OPTIONS toward OVERSCAN until your image is sized to fit your display.

Thanks Rob, but mine is an ATI card not an AMD - or are they the same?

Yes, I think so. If you Google ATI it shows AMD's website.
