ATi Support Folder On Boot Anomaly

Hello all.

I have a quick question about my ATi card and drivers as there is a little problem I notice with them. Basically, every time I boot up and/or restart the computer it seems that my ATi drivers do in fact load, however they don't display within the system tray (the red ATi icon that is) and the Support folder (located: C:\ATI\) ALWAYS pops up on boot when I first get to my desktop. If I right click my desktop and click on the desktop and go to 'ATi Catalyst Control Center' the system tray icon will then appear and stay there until next reboot / shutdown.

Any idea on why this is doing this every time I boot up / restart my PC? I'm using the latest ATi Catalyst Control Center drivers and my card is specified to the left within my profile. I find it very odd and just wondered why it's happening.

Thanks for reading and for any replies in advance.

Best regards,

Breaks.

It looks like the program is open but a bug is stopping the Icon showing in the tray,
search through the options and see if there is a boot up on start up in the control center,
if there isnt one then try dragging a shortcut to the control center into the Start Up folder in start menu > Program Files and see if the icon shows up after that, but this may just make the control center's window open.

I guess it's just one of those things, like every now and again I have icons in my system tray that I've set to allways hide, but they still appear...

That gave me an idea, there is a little arrow pointing left next to your icons in the bottom right, click on it, does the icon for the control center show up then?
