ATI tool

Hi.
Recently I formatted my comp and weirdly, my VGA clocks have downgraded to its original speed. So I tried to overclock using ATItool again but when I open up ATI tool, I always get an error message.
Also, before this happened, when I tried to find the max clock and RAMclock, my comp always froze and had to manually turn it off.

Does anyone know why this happens>>

What error message is it? And are you running Vista?

If you did, then it's an issue with ATI Tool and signed drivers, because ATI Tool can't run properly under Vista.

Did your screen go blank and you couldnt turn it off without pressing the button for a long time? If you do I have the same problem
