ATI X1600 Pro Help!!!

I purchased an ATI X1600 Pro 256MB for a PCI-Express slot and when I install it, the computer does not boot up. I have an Emachine W3506, with a 3.2 GHZ processor and 2 gb of ram. I have a 300watt power supply, ati recommends 350watts. would that cause the problem?

Probably not. Did you install it correctly, and does it need an extra power cable? And does it boot at all?
