Hello everybody :)
I am trying to use a 10 years old Hi-Fi philips system with a cd-rom reader. If I use cd-rom recorded by me there is a message on the device display "no disk". Does somebody know how to solve the problem ? I have used Nero to record the cd. Thank you so much in advance !!

Welcome to CF!

If the stereo system plays pre-recorded/commercial CDs fine but not the ones you burn yourself, there is a good chance that the stereo system's CD player laser is not sensitive enough to read home-burnt CDs. CDs you burn at home do not reflect as much light as a CD you buy in the store.

To solve the problem, you should try another brand of CD-R. If that does not work, then you may be out of luck.

Just to confirm, you are burning .wav files to the CD, yes? Not .mp3s?
