Audio Software Question

Hi Everyone,
I was wondering if any of you know any software for Windows equivilent to "Garageband" (for Mac). I'm mainly looking for the feature of putting in sounds from different instruments as I have a few song ideas but I don't have the instruments as of yet :P and I'd like to see how they sound. Any help would be appreciated :).

idk, what you are really on about, but i use 'guitar pro' to view/hear tabs for songs,
erm, if you are looking for a sound editor then 'audacity' is free and its pretty good.
