Auto Adjust Epic Fail

Well about 3 days ago, I was having some problems with my monitor so I decided to Auto Adjust it which was a big mistake due to the fact that it screwed around with the position of my screen and left a black line down the right side of my screen. I asked a few of my friends who were reasonably good on computers if they could help me, but unfortunately none of them were successfully able to which is why I got recommended to this forum. To make it a bit more clear as to the exact problem that I am facing, I provided a screenshot below, but when I took the screenshot, it didn't actually show the problem, it actually showed my screen as normal, so I just did a quick picture in paint of how it looks and hopefully one of you guys can help me. I use Vista if that may help.

Thanks to you all for your help, it is highly appreciated!

Has the problem been solved, if not you can manually adjust the monitor, unless the setting have been changed in the setting, Go to desktop right click on it, go personalize, display settings, make sure you have the right setting for your screen.

Any feedback would be good

I'm almost a 100% sure that I have the right size for my screen, I have it at 1024 x 768 pixels which is the exact right fit for my screen, but I've never experienced this problem before.

mate have you recently updated your video card drivers? Because if you did and the screen you have a black stripe down is used as a second screen, then rollback the drivers.

If not then stuff around with the positioning, phase and clock. Thats the only other thing i can suggest

ajh-93 I manage to fix it by messing around with the phase clock and pixel clock settings, thanks so much for that bro, i appreciate it a ton.
