Auto Log-In

I only have one account on this computer without a password, is there a way to make XP log me in automatically at the welcome screen? (I would press the power button and later I would be in windows ready to go.)
 
Check your user accounts area and make sure you delete the ASP.net account if its there.

Go into control panel then click on user accounts. If the asp.net account isn't there let me know.

I have the same problem and i am on Windows 7.

Is it dangerous to delete the ASP.net account?

No its not dangerous to remove it. The account is not needed. It gets put there when you install microsofts net framework software.
 
Just for updating purposes, I found the account and removed it but kept the data (figured better to have extra data than no data). I'm gonna restart my computer soon to see if it works.
 
control userpasswords2 > remove the tick in "users must enter a user name and password to use this computer" > apply

will prompt you for a user name + password for autologon. If you ask me that is the way to do this.

why is this hidden from the normal user control options? Too dangers or something?
