I have the same problem and i am on Windows 7.Check your user accounts area and make sure you delete the ASP.net account if its there.
Go into control panel then click on user accounts. If the asp.net account isn't there let me know.
Thanks, it worked for windows 7 ultimateNo its not dangerous to remove it. The account is not needed. It gets put there when you install microsofts net framework software.
control userpasswords2 > remove the tick in "users must enter a user name and password to use this computer" > apply
will prompt you for a user name + password for autologon. If you ask me that is the way to do this.
