Any good? My Mcafee ran out so i got the free trial avast anti virus software. That is running out so I thought about upgrading and paying 3 500 yen for the upgraded avast. is it worth it?

I just had someone bring me a machine with McAfee running on it.It had a bunch of tojan horses on it and a couple of worms.

Ran the drive with Avast and it cleared them all up.

Installed AVast on the drive,,removed McAfee and its running like a champ.

no, stick with the free version, it blocks everything for me. I have it on 4 computers and have yet to be infected.

My free version is running out. anyone know the domain where I can renew it?

I guess if the worst comes to worst just pay the 35 dollars

Open Avast from the desktop icon or "Start" > "All Programs" > "Avast Antivirus" and then click on the Avast Antivirus icon to open the program.

As it is running through its memory test the should be a blue link in the window you can click on to be redirected to the restration page.

Here you will have to fill out an online form but the process is free and everytime you need to renew you can do it free indefenitely. I think you get a year before you reregister again.
