how do i turn off teh avast scanner on the bootup blue screen

maybe you have turned on the avast boot scan.
try to open avast and click the settings on the right panel of the skin... the small arrow there and uncheck the "schedule boo scan"...

I love avast. Ive used it for 2 years at least and never had problems.
