sorry i didn't know where to put this. I was trying to make an avatar because everyone else seems to have one and so i tried to put it on and it said it was too big so I resized it and then it said it doesn't allow animated pics or something like that. I think animated means moving (im too tired to figure anything out :P ) which it isn't. what do i do?
 
You should be able to have animated avatar unless is has been disabled. You could try and upload a gif that has the animation you want. Animations can be quite large files size, thats what it may have been referring to.

but it isnt an animation. its this pic only smaller

ok i figured it out after i put up a picture of bush as my avatar. It needs to be saved as a .jpg instead of .gif
EDIT: sorry for triple posting :(

Why?

I find avatar's pretty useful, it lets you know who the person is that posted without needing to look at the names. And some of them look cool ;)
 
Yeah, but try not to get carries away like I did. In my defence, I was really really bored. More so than in a while.
