G gpitner New Member Aug 23, 2013 #1 I have an Acer Aspire V3-551-8458 and today I went to go check my CPU's average temp and it was 97-103 degrees Celsius. My CPU is a AMD A8-4500M. Is this way to high of an average running temp for my computer/CPU?

Darren Moderator Staff member Aug 23, 2013 #4 Yeah that's a bit toasty. Blast out all your fans and vents with compressed air and get rid of us much dust as possible. Check temps after doing that.

johnb35 Administrator Staff member Aug 23, 2013 #5 Are you sure that is Celcius and not Fahrenheit? The machine should turn off before the cpu even reaches that high if its Celcius.
