H Hitokaji New Member Sep 16, 2012 #1 what were the average motherboards in 2006? and another question if i may: if i have a: Amd fx fd4100wmw4kgu or in short amd fx 4100. what motherboard should i buy with it ? that would work good with the cpu but be on the cheaper side though.

Click to expand... In 2006 AMD came out with socket AM2. Intel was using socket 775. Look at some lowerend Gigabyte/Asus/Asrock and MSI 970 chipset boards.
