Avg Download Problem

Im Using Avg Security Software--it Keeps On Saying Internal Virus Database Out Of Date "---i Try To Update But It Says Update Unsuccessfull--the Computer Seems To Be Working Ok--what Do You Think Is Going On Here?

Maybe you set during instilation to update via folder insteaad of internet.

You should be able to change that setting in AVG somewhere,If its already set to Internet than you can manualy download and instal the updates here.

do you mean its automatically updating but not showing this on the main page---because the avg icon on my tray says "internal virus database out of date" ---if this was true my computer would have a high risk of infection--yes?

just to make it simple just uninstal AVG and re-install it.

then it will update itself when its instaled but make sure you choose to download updates from the internet and not from file.

This should sort out any problem you have.

i dunno what realy it could be but that should sort the problem.
