AVG Free Problems

I downloaded this to my new laptop with Windows 7 and it just would not work at all.The computer would turn on just fine for a minute,but then it would freeze up like it was thinking and thinking.I barely had enough time to uninstall it.

Any others had any problems with it?

Now it's time to think of another free one.

I don't know if this is the problem,but there is something on here about "Trend",but I think it's a 30 day trial but I haven't activated it yet.

I dunno running Windows 7 Ultimate x64 and have no such problems with my AVG in any way shape or form.


Install it using the non-30 day trial. That is why I did as I don't plan to ever pay for a AV or Firewall.
