AVG vs Comodo

I am curious which in your opinions is superior? I don't need a beefy anti-virus but I am getting kinda sick of AVG so was thinking since I use comodo as my firewall it might benefit using the anti-virus too.

I never used it so thought id give it a check. If there is a better combo firewall/antivirus out there that uses less resources with better performance id also love to hear about it too.
 
I would deff get rid of avg. Considering many hackers base there attacks off the assumption people are using avg, i wouldn't call it that safe. My computer got infected while i had avg twice, to the point i just said screw it and wiped the HDD. I now use Microsoft Security Essentials. Is it the best out there? No. But have i ever had any issues with it? Nope. Increased Performance? Yup

Just my 2 cents on the subject.
 
I went from AVG/ZoneAlarm to Comodo firewall and Defense+, with Avast. I don't see AVG as being bad, it worked fine protection-wise. It conflicted with ZoneAlarm so I got rid of both.
 
Yeah personally id trust AVG over anything microsoft comes out with. My thought process here was more less resources and I was getting sick of AVG bugging me all the time with sales etc. I will test drive comodo av out and see what it does. I know a few sites where I can get most of your typical viruses from. Honestly though my last virus was a year or so ago so I really don't need to have high end software lol.
