wht kinda dvd burner program are you using? wht i did a while ago was i burnt them into a "data dvd" and it seemed to play on my ps2...but should u b able to just add it and burn? sry this doesnt seem to help

The other idea is to buy a Divx compatable DVD player. I know you're trying to use what you already have, but when you can burn more files on a singles disk and play them that way.

i do this all the time. all you need is NERO VISION and a dvd burner.
use nero vision to choose your bit-rate, create chapters, make menus and convert to dvd format. its really easy to use. it came with my nero 7 ultra edition.

you just choose the file, adjust the bit-rate, create chapters (or have it automatically put chapters every 2 minutes). then make or disable the menu and burn. it converts and everything on its own. usually takes around 2-3 hours to convert and burn a dvd from an avi.

You can actually burn a Divx avi onto a DVD and then use a Mpeg4 DVD player to play the file or alternatively if you have a hard drive in your dvd drive, you can put your media files on that and it will output it to your monitor or projector. Mpeg4 DVD players are really cheap, at least it is where I live.
