Hi im new here and have a quick question about the back of the computer.

I have an Intel Pentium 4 CPU 2.8GHz 504MB RAM (that means nothing to me)

Im just wondering what the green and blue holes/plugs on the back are for.

I have 3x 17" monitors hooked up in the back and am trying to get my sony ps2 to work on 1......is this possible or can i just buy an adapter so i can use the monitor and play the sound somehow through the computer.

Any ideas to get this to work would be much appreciated as im sick of having to plug and unplug the ps2 from the tv all the time.

green and blue holes are PS2

The green and blue holes are at the top?

If so they are probably the PS2 keyboard and Mouse interface holes

Yeah, if they have a load of little holes in there then its for the mouse and the keyboard, other than that, if they are just a hole they could be the left and right speaker jack plugs...

Green one looks like Audio out (For your speakers)

And the blue ones probably for a Mic.

Dont they have a little symbol above the socket?

ok i sorta get it now....thanks

so i can plug my red and white RCA into a 1/8 headphone adaptor to get sound through my computer from the ps2.....

now is there an adaptor to convert the yellow RCA video lead to go directly to a monitor or will i have to do this through the computer as well somehow.

Yeah, I guess you, that should work! It may be mono though?

There may be, I don't see why not... Go to an electrical store and just ask, It doesn't do any harm! :D

i have a normal monitor plug......and this other monitor stuff

adaptor type: Matrox G450 multi monitor
chip type: Matrox G450
DAC type: Integrated, 360 MHz
Memory size: 32MB
Adaptor string: Matrox MMS G450

If this is any help

with higher end video cards it comes with composite cables that go from your vid card to the composite connectors
