I upgraded my desktop to Win7, My emachines ET1161-07 to be exact. I wanna go back to Vista WITHOUT having to do a fresh install. I have my Sims 3 and I have MS Office, but I don't have anymore copies of Publisher (You can only install it on 3 computers) I don't want to loose anything I have installed.

I have 7 on my laptop and other desktop so im gonna have one Vista, one 2000, and 2 w/ Win7.

When you upgraded to windows 7 did you do a clean install or did you actually do an upgrade?

You should be able to reinstall your software since its the same computer, so technically not a different computer.

If you did an upgrade then look in programs and see if windows 7 has an entry to be uninstalled.

If you did a fresh install then you will have to format and do a fresh install of vista.

Out of curiosity, why do you want to go back to vista?
 
Because wehn I installed 7 Ultimate 32-bit Upgrade, I had already installed it on my T5230 and I used the product key for the T5230. I wasn't aware at the time that you could only use the product key once. I also just bought the a monitor for my ET1161-07. And to purchase a new key from Microsoft costs around $200 bucks.
